Most photographs you’ll see from Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park are south facing, an aspect which provides breathtaking sweeping views looking down the length of Zion Canyon. Turn around facing north though and you’ll quickly realize why it owns such an ominous reputation. The trail narrows to a few feet in some spots, with vertigo-inducing 1000+ foot dropoffs on either side. Even if you’re comfortable with serious exposure, the trail definitely gets your adrenaline pumping.
