I started practicing yoga four or five years ago and each year I enjoy it more (especially hot yoga). This fall, I made a commitment to myself to increase it to 2-3 times a week and I’m starting to feel the (positive) effects. Instead of just trying to get close to what each pose is supposed to look like, it’s been rewarding to go deeper, focus on the subtleties & technique and feel my body responding. I’m also enjoying the mental part of my practice more than ever. Like meditation, the goal is to free your mind and focus on your breath. I was never really able to really understand and achieve that until this year. Namaste friends ☮️
