We met as strangers from all over the globe, together for one week to experience Greenland for the first time. We kayaked among glaciers & icebergs as big as office buildings, climbed waterfalls and plunged ourselves with glee into the frozen North Atlantic. We trekked over passes, through mud that bogged us down and upon spongy moss that felt like we were walking on clouds. We watched the sun rise and set together each day and acted like children on Christmas morning when the northern lights played above us. We ate our meals together and had a hundred different conversations. We came as strangers but left with lifelong friendships from sharing such a unique and powerful experience.
