Hard to believe that this is actually the moon setting over Joshua Tree National Park right before dawn. With no clouds and one of the brightest full moons I’ve ever seen, we stayed up most of the night hiking and rock scrambling without the need for headlamps. Watching the moon set that morning (which allowed the stars to light up the heavens) was one of those magical outdoor experiences I’ll never forget.
