We visited with a park ranger last summer who shared with us that there are only three rangers assigned to the Sawtooth National Forest, an area of over 2.1 million acres and 1100 lakes. Our public lands have never been under more pressure and our forests are the lungs of the earth. It’s up to all of us to preserve them for future generations. Pack it out and leave no trace. 🌏
