Read a great piece in @outsidemagazine yesterday about @robyn_erbesfield_raboutou. She’s a 55 year-old world class climber still performing at the top of one of the most physically challenging sports we humans pursue. “The problem with adults is they’re stuck in a I can’t mindset. Kids think they can do anything. Nothing is impossible for them. For adults, so many things seem impossible.” As someone who didn’t discover the joy of mountain sports until my 30’s, people like Robyn are my role models. They inspire me to train harder, stay more flexible and properly fuel my body so that I can still be kayaking, climbing, backpacking, mountain biking and backcountry skiing well into my 70’s (and hopefully beyond).
